When a tweet update fails the notification icon flips the tweetdeck bird upside down.  Its kind of insensitive in these trying times for all the birds out there.  

I stumbled on to Google’s Chrome Apps Webstore today.  I’ve visited before, but it has been a long while and there are a lot of new apps over there.  I use TweetDeck for following my Twitter feed and Facebook updates on my phone and my laptop.  Today TweetDeck informed they have their applications in the chrome app store.  So I jumped in and installed it, and it works really nice.  I prefer the stand alone app, but it’s a nice option to have right in your browser.

Now for the reason I’m posting this.  I also picked-up Scribefire while at the store.  Scribefire is an in chrome browser blog tool.  This allows me to post to my blogs directly from Chrome.  I can even insert pictures and youtube videos.  One knock on WordPress is it’s blog entry screen.  not real user friendly at all.  So I’m less apt to jump in there and post a quick blog.  Which then turns my blog in to a static page with quarterly updates at best.  So heres to more blogging hopefully!

Oh and if your not surfing the internet.com with Google’s Chrome do yourself a favor and start ASAP.  Why not?
